Two information sessions on the Horizon 2020 program were realized at the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) last September 26th, 2019.
In the morning, a workshop was held, attended by representatives of public and private sectors, researchers and entrepreneurs. The objective was to provide information about new calls of the Horizon 2020 program, especially those who involve International Cooperation actions and promote the participation of Latin America and the Caribe. The mentioned areas were: Food Security, Agriculture and Forestry, Marine Science and Bio-economy, ICTs and Health.

In the afternoon, a video conference was held to provide information on the new calls of the Horizon 2020 program, with the objective to broadcast the information, ensuring that it gets to all CELAC countries and in particular to the IICA offices.
This video conference counted on the participation of Claudia Romano, Graciela Morelli and Maite Irazábal, representing the Liaison Office with the European Union in Uruguay, and Alejandra Bentancur in representation of the IICA.
