Last Monday, 3rd of June 2019, the meeting with the coordination body of the Latin American and Caribbean National Contact Point Network (LAC NCP Network) took place at the Delegation of the European Union in Lima, Peru.
The main objective was to give general information about the Horizon 2020 program for Research and Innovation of the European Union, especially about the tasks of NCP in assisting and collaborating with researchers regarding their postulation.
The workshop was realized with the support of Claudia Romano from the coordination body of the LAC NCP Network and counted on the participation of Marina Martínez of CDTI, next to representatives of CONCYTEC. Also, the support of the Service Facility of the European Commission was emphasized.
The aim of this activity was to strengthen institutional capacities of organizations, researchers and companies in topics such as international cooperation, funding opportunities and the process to participate effectively in the Horizon 2020 program.
