On April 18th, MEC CUBIST held an informational talk about the tools in the H2020 Program in La Estanzuela, experimental station of the National Institute of Agricultural Investigation (INIA) in the department of Colonia.
After the regional director Darío Hirigoyen had welcomed the present audience and the participants from the Veterinary Faculty connected via videoconference, MEC CUBIST coordinator, Claudia Romano, held a general presentation about the mentioned program. She explained the possibilities provided by the call lines “Marie Sklodowska-Curie” and the features of the so-called collaboratives launched for the period of 2018 to 2020 in the framework of Social Challenges.
MEC CUBIST project officer, Florencia Acosta, for her part, informed about the features of the consortium calls, showed the websites to obtain information about the calls, offered tips for finding partners and explained how to elaborate a proposal and set up the budget.
Taking into account the profil of the participating audience, the call launched within the framework of Social Challenge 2 "Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture, Maritime Research and Bioeconomics" was presented in detail. Therefore, the NCP of Social Challenge 6, Ivonne Naguila Calleri, offered her support with a summary sheet of the call that she had elaborated together with MEC Cubist and which contains the its topics: FOOD SECURITY | SEALEVEL RISE |RURAL REVIVAL.
Finally, the MEC CUBIST team highlighted the importance of those calls that explicitly require the inclusion of Latin American and Caribbean countries (CELAC) in their applications, providing the participants with a list of those.
